About Update October 2014: Harald now works at Apple

I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at IDAV at the University of California, Davis with Prof. Ken Joy. The main focus of my research interests lies in scientific visualization and data processing. Previous and current research includes the visualization of scalar, vector, and tensor fields as single fields or in a multi-field context. In the course of this work, I’ve also conducted research in the related fields of computational science, geometric modeling, visual analytics, and information visualization. Notable application areas include continuum mechanics in geophysics and simulated acoustics.
